The WCA has been volunteering and doing what we can in the Clifton area community and beyond all year long. Now it's time for a little Holiday Cheer! After we got down to business there was some toe-tappin' entertainment from the Ramapo Valley Ramblers.
“Here we are as in olden days, happy golden days of yore. Faithful friends who are dear to us gather near to us once more. Through the years we all will be together, if the Fates allow Hang a shining star upon the highest bough.
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now”. ~ Ralph Blane

WOW! The summer went by so quickly and now we are certainly rested up for another year at the Woman's Club of Allwood! The first meeting of our 2013-2014 club year took place at the Allwood Community Church Hall on Monday, October 7th at 7:30pm. The WCA monthly newsletter, sent out prior to the members via snail mail and email, was kicked off with a message from our Club President, Dorothy Gondola, "October is here already!! ... We are looking forward to a busy and successful club year. Come out, bring a friend, call if you need a ride!!"
Our Autumn-themed meeting set-up was hosted by long-time clubwoman, Betty Hoffman. Betty and her committee did an outstanding job getting us back in the spirit! Read more about our general meeting in the October newsletter below.
